Not sure if i need to reapply for a student visa

Hi everyone,

I applied for a study permit in 2017 and got it late so I didn't end up going to university in Canada and decided to stay in my home country for uni. I applied to a different university this year as a transfer student and got admitted. Do I need to reapply for the study permit or is changing the post-secondary institution in my account by changing the DLI number enough?
