not resigning from current work here in uae then going to canada

i am planning not to resign from my work here in uae and instead i will ask for an emergency leave to my employer, then from a week stay to philippines, i will go directly to canada. my visa is work visa. is there will be any problem i might encounter in canada? or before going out in the philippines? any kabayans here who have then this in going to canada? salamat po
