Not Received PT Letter from Ontario

Hello All,

I have submitted my profile on July 27th, 2016 and haven't yet received PT Notification from Ontario. My CRS score is 481.

From the forums, I have come to know that by recreating the EE profile I may get PT Notification.

Can someone please help me with the following questions?

1. What is the typical time period to receive PT Notification?

2. How to recreate the EE profile?

3. Will my older profile get deleted or both the profiles will remain active?

Hello All,

That's because Ontario's Provincial Nomination Program is currently closed, because they have reached their quota for nominees.

From the forums, I have come to know that by recreating the EE profile I may get PT Notification.

They come through almost instantly; definitely within 24 hours.

2. How to recreate the EE profile?
Withdraw your profile, and create a new one.

3. Will my older profile get deleted or both the profiles will remain active?
Withdraw your old profile.

Change in father Name in Transcripts/degrees and Passport

Dear Asivad & Seniors，

My deceased father’s name in one of my educational degree is written as “Muhammad Farooq Anjum Pathan” and in onward degree as “Muhammad Farooq Pathan” and in rest as “Muhammad Farooq Khan” and same is in mentioned in my Passport and in my National identity card i.e. Muhammad Farooq Khan

I have been advised after months of endless futile efforts that affidavit is the last solution.

I have got the following statement of affidavit.
- Will the following statement in affidavit will suffice or do i need to change it a bit (i dont know how) and also
- Do i need to enclose my father’s “ Death Certificate” as his name is mentioned as “Muhammad Farooq Khan” in that document for proof.

Affidavit

I, _______ son of _______, resident of _______,do hereby solemnly affirm and declare as under:-


1- That the name of the father of the deponent is _______.
2- That _______ and _______ and ______ is the same person.
3- That fathers name in Degree 1，Degree 2 &
Degree 3 be referred as same person i.e.
Muhammad Farooq Khan as same is
mentioned in my Passport.

Any suggestion and advise please. I would really appreciate any help.

This seems fine to me.
I think you should provide your father's death certificate, to explain why your father hasn't signed the declaration if nothing else.

Hi Kunjal,

They have stopped sending PTs since Feb 16th onwards. Hence, even if you re-create the profile now, there is a chance that you might not get a PT due to this temporary pause.

As per the various forums, I have found out that November is the month where they will get new quota, so may be then you will get it.

i had created my profile in Nov last year and didnt get PT. Then I recreated on Feb 1st and same day I got PT. so it is almost instant but yes right now there is a pause.

Actually I would like to apply for the French stream. I have not received PT notification yet.
How to show that I prefer the French stream, not the English Human Capital Priorities?
Should I cancel my EE profile and resubmit a new one by choosing French as the first language? (Knowing that it may decrease my CSR)

If you want to apply under the French stream, French must be listed as your first language in your profile.

Is that true?? do you have any proof? I have been waiting for french stream for a while and nothing yet. Maybe that is the reason? when doing that however i will be falling from 445 CRS to 420 CRS. Will try it after the draw today.

I wonder if we create, delete and resubmit many times EE profile (in order to test), there is any negative effect on our profile (CIC may consider it as a cheat or something wrong with that candidate ;D )

No, it won't have any effect.

The scores are bound to come down at some point. So if you are willing to wait, you will almost certainly receive ITA at some point, but it may not be for a while.
