Hope someone can help me! I have just used the CRS calculator tool and unfortunately did not score enough to be eligible for Express Entry (think my grand old age of 45 worked against me ☹) Are there any other options available to us? Desperately want to immigrate and now gutted that we probably won't be able to

Look into the Provincial Nominee Programs.

Have hope there are many people not eligible for express entry who are still able to move to Canada. The PNP option is the best way to go, each provinces requirements are different but if you have work experience in a skilled occupation you have options.

PNP is certainly worth considering, but I will not sugarcoat it for you. At 45 your options are going to be slim.
