Hi there.

I posted an earlier thread but wanted to ask some follow ups.

How should I answer Section 6 relationship information?

I will return for sure when my spouse gets approved. Until then will continue to live in the Philippines unless some major opportunity presents itself.

My spouse will also file for a transfer in her current company (international) and we will return at that point. Just not sure how I can prove via applying for jobs when It could be a year or more for approval? I mean I can get letters of support, can send notes indicating the plan (Will stay with my brother when we come back for quarantine, and until I get a place of my own) just hard to do that in today's times without a firm approval date. (Since the plan is to stay with my wife until approval)

Since I don't know exactly when I will be approved, how do you apply for jobs or whatever when I am not 100% sure when/where I will be since I need to base my return on the above?

I can safely indicate that I will stay with my family in Canada on the application just don't want to say anything wrong on the application or not have any job "proof" since it's far away from today (since I am waiting for her approval)

PS - In section 5 they are asking for my ex's birthdays. Since it was a long time ago, do I need to research her date of birth since it's asking for it? This might be awkward so what if I don't know or am unable to secure it? (Sorry for being insensitive)

Thanks a lot!

The Philippines has increasingly becoming a covid hotspot but you don't consider this as a major opportunity to move Canada?

I think you need to research your ex's info to your best of your knowledge.

Thanks for your repsponse.

Not entirely sure what you mean. I am looking for proof, and yes I will note on my application that one of the reasons I want to relocate / move to Canada is because of political and the covid handling here.

How exactly do I use that as proof though? I mean the objective at this point I can state my intentions but not sure how strong "proofwise" indicating the above would support me.

From a common sense perspective and if you were on the ground here, I 100% agree though not sure how that translates to helping me secure proof especially since my concerns are more related to not being able to apply yet for jobs since I don't know how long my wife's visa will take.

Anyway appreciate your response....
