Hi all,

Just a couple of questions. I have 1 years continuous work experience in Canada in NOC A and 8 months in the UK in NOC B. I nees 1 year of foreign work experience to have enough points for CEC. So my question is, if I get another job here in the UK in the same NOC as my previous UK experience, do I just need 4 months to be able to say I have a total of 12 months foreign work experience? It wouldnt be continuous..

Also, do I just need a reference letter from my UK employers or do I need further proof such as pay checks?

Thanks.

You need 52 weeks of employment to count as 1 year, it does not need to be continuous if it is just for points.

Not mandatory, but good to include in some circumstances. I'm sure the UK has the equivalent of a T4 (P60?), or if you have a contract or something, some additional documentation is good. No need to go overboard, tho.
