Hi,

I would be so grateful if u could help me with my below question

how to know for sure which occupation do I fit in ?

I have checked the NOC website, and searched for my Job title , I am a " Pension Administrator" Working for an insurance company

On the NOC I found my job title under two occupations

0111 Financial Managers - Pension plans administrator

1434 Banking, Insurance and Other Financial Clerks
pension plans clerk – insurance

The title Pension plans administrator on (0111) matches perfectly my job title, but I work in an insurance company

my question is where do i fit ? 0111 or 1434 ? or both ? how to know for sure?

Thanks a lot for your help

Kindest Regards

Joseph

Compare your main duties with that listed under both noc codes. Which ever best match you may use

Thanks for your reply ,

I have spent more than one hour trying to figure out where I can get the main job duties for a pension administrator but with no Luck ,

can any body help me with this

http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2006/ViewAllTitlesQuickSearch.aspx?val=0&val1=0111&val65=0111

my job title is included in the above link , its title # 8. how do I get the job description of this specific job title ?

Thanks
Joseph

It is not the job description of the job specific job title but the main duties of 0111, thats what you look at.

Hi Joseph, not to forget that 0111: Financial Managers and 1111: Financial Auditors and Accountants are the nocs that can be related to your duties under the 38 new ministerial list. Do not do the mistake of using noc 1434. As for working i an insurance company, as long as your duties are as you claimed it is ok
