So basically i am being offered a retail assistant manager job, however i have no background neither my education or work experience ever has been in retail. The employer's is not looking for anyone with experience or its an asset to have previous exp, my mostly background has been tax Secretary and admin assistant at the bank for a yr, its a fairly small store, ability to staff around 10 to 12 ppl. I was wondering how does it effect if one decides to accept this job offer, the chances r probably less if applied under CEC? since my job exp is not much in management?

CEC stream cares about the upcoming 12 month job experience - past experience or education is not a requirement. If the job required a license to practice (doctors), then CIC may ask you submit proof of license. But as a Manager that is not an issue.
