Hello,
I realized that I have submitted a slightly different NOC code between my work history and my main occupation, I don't know if it might cause an issue or not, as my duties overlap with both
this is what I had for my work history, including CEC
Software Developer - NOC 21231 Software Engineers and Designers (Canada)
Android Developer - NOC 21231 Software Engineers and Designers (Foreign)
and this is what I had in main occupation
NOC 21232 - Software developers and programmers
the fact that these are 2 different things is beyond me and doesn't make any sense, and it's part of the reason I also accidentally picked the "wrong" one, even though I'm not even sure which one is the right as they overlap
for reference, here are both duties for those jobs:
• Develop and code innovative Android applications that provide an exceptional user experience
• Participate in maintenance tasks and re-engineering of certain functionalities, particularly in Kotlin Multiplatform (KMM), in the context of a pre-existing, large, and complex project.
• Perform code reviews and develop unit tests • Work with an agile team of web developers, a QA team, and a product manager
• Participate in the choice of technologies used and question what seems imperfect • Enrich the team of developers with your knowledge
and
My application hasn't reached medical yet and I'm wondering if they might refuse it because of this discrepancy, should I raise a webform or should I just withdraw? if so, what do I even say? they are both part of the same NOC subgroup
Please help
