What if there were other roles and responsibilties I was responsible for that I cannot find in the NOC on the CIC website?

I saw a post a while ago on this forum that you can email your job description along with job title and pay to the HRSDC to assess and give the proper classification??

And just to clarify the NOC code for a position isn't just determined on my job title right??

Thanks!

There is no fee for it, and you can send an email to noc-cnp @ workingincanada.gc.ca and they would get back to you with a NOC.

A job title may help narrow down your search in the NOC list but the main duties and responsibilities determine your NOC code.

Not really sure what this means. Your NOC would be determined by your MAIN roles and responsibilities. An exhaustive list of possible additional activities does not change your MAIN roles and responsibilities. Focus on those.

What I mean is my job title isn't a complete reflection of my main roles and responsibilities. I had other daily tasks that aren't commonplace for my position so I just want to ensure that an NOC code isn't determined solely on my job title.

Thanks for the email address SenoritaBella!
