Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi,

I have more than 1 year of combined work experience in NOC B and C and when I put that in my express entry profile it says I am eligible for CEC and I get the points towards the work experience. Is it okay to apply if I get an invitation?

Thanks.

I'm pretty sure that you need one year of work experience in same noc code.

I won't even bother trying to apply. check and see if you have 1560 hours in any of your job?

I have more than 1560 hours of experience in one of my job but some of it was accumulated while I was studying. I filled up the work experience section carefully and still I got invitation to apply. I don't know should I apply or not. Pretty confusing.

Can you explain your situation more clearly?. Are you in Canada ?

Experience accumulate while you are on a study permit doesn't count.

You will not get any points under cec for Noc C category.

Yea, I am in Canada.

I was doing a part time job while I was in the last 2 semester of my studies and I graduated on August 2014. From August 2014 I started doing the same job full time till April 2015. It was a NOC B job.

Then the company shut down and I was forced to do a NOC C sales related job. I started that job on May 2015.

When I put all these information in my profile I get the points for 1 year of work experience under CEC even though I mentioned the correct NOC codes for these 2 jobs.

Unfortunately none of your experience will count towards cec in ee.

Experience gained on study permit doesn't count and your noc c job won't count either.

I'm not sure why you got points in express entry.

You should try one of the provincial nominee.
