Greetings for the day!
I am planning to enter the EE pool next month and have confusion regarding choosing the appropriate NOC pertaining to my foreign work experience. I have 2+ years of experience as an ENGINEER-Infrastructure Management and Technical Services, which is exactly the same title given and mentioned by my company over my Relieving Service Letter. However, the duties at job were related to that of a Network Administrator or Network Analyst kind of role as listed below:
I am not really sure as my title is of Engineer which is NOC A based skill category whereas the duties listed mostly matches the NOC B skill category: NOC 2281-Computer Network Technicians. Will it be an issue if my title is Engineer and duties listed related to NOC B skill category? Also, what will be the appropriate NOC to go with keeping in mind various factors?
Please advise on the same and share your experiences, it will assist me with proceeding with the right NOC code. Also, if applies, please suggest other NOC codes with respect to my case.
Note: Maybe I can modify the duties to some extent to fit in the appropriate NOC code.

- Managing the client’s Network Infrastructure and end-user device LAN connectivity during business hours
- Delivering Network Infrastructure Services based on client’s requirement pertaining to the existing environment
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues of LAN/WAN/WLAN architecture across multiple locations including the global backbone
- Monitoring the performance and alerts triggered from Network devices of client’s infrastructure through network monitoring tools to ensure uninterrupted service delivery
- Performing scheduled maintenance for upgradation of various vendor network devices residing in client’s network infrastructure
- Recording network bandwidth usage and traffic for optimization of resources
- Coordinating with other team members to drive critical issues towards resolution within the defined Service Level Agreement
- Implementing automation scripts to eliminate redundant processes and tasks
