Hello friends,

Need your suggestions as I have one confusion that relates with NOC categories and associated job responsibilities.

1. Does job title needs to be exactly the same as mentioned in the NOC list or can be different?

2. I am in situation where my job title matches with some NOC code XXXX and my responsibilities matches with NOC code YYYY. Which one option should be safe and better for me?

3. Will I reach out to my employer to customize my job title ( same job title as in NOC category ) and responsibilities within same NOC code? If not then what would be best idea?

Please respond to my queries and I would really appreciate for the same.
 
1. Job title does not need to be the same as listed in NOC. All that matters is roles and responsibilities.
2. Select NOC which best matches your roles and responsibilities. Job title does not matter.
3. You don't need to change your job title to match any NOC. As mentioned, job title is not important. Make sure the roles and responsibilities stated in your reference letter closely match the roles and responsibilities in the specified NOC. But don't make it word for word the same as this will signify to an officer that the reference isn't legitimate.
