Hello All,

Can you please suggest what will be the NOC Code for Shift Coordinator in an automobile factory. My spouse has been hired through the same staffing agency where I have been hired as an HR Recruiter. She monitors the entire shift of associates(75+) working through the agency at the client location. She has a Bachelor's Degree & had completed 2 Year Diploma course in Canada. Her job is not relevant to her education and she does not have any past work experience.

I would be the primary applicant, as I have 2 years of experience in Canada and I'm eligible under CEC and have previous work exp from back home. Request you to share your valuable feedback for the queries that I have below:

1. NOC Code for Shift Coordinator/Supervisor?

2. Does her job need to match the pay rate as per NOC?

3. Does she need to provide a job letter?

1. NOC Code for Shift Coordinator/Supervisor?

Well, without knowing exactly what is being produced at the factory, I would suggest either NOC 9522 or NOC 9221. But the NOC has to be chosen based on job duties and responsibilities, not the job title.

2. Does her job need to match the pay rate as per NOC?

No. But it should be reasonable.

3. Does she need to provide a job letter?
Yes, if she wants points for the work experience.
