Dear All,

I will be more than glad if someone could assist me with the right NOC code to be used in my application.

I read Electrical/Electronic Engineering as my undergraduate course and MBA in finance as a second degree.

I have an extensive knowledge in the field of ICT and has worked for more than seven years with the last five years being in one of the best telecom operators in Africa.

I am currently acting as a data network manager.

Your swiftest response will be very much appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Dear Zik,

It seems that you have your experience in IT sector. Could you please confirm?

N.B. Currently IT is not listed under current 29 professions. But for any applicant having Arranged Employment Offer can apply.

For your ready reference, please check the link below:

Thanks,

You can look through some telecom NOCs here: http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2006/SearchKeywordResult.aspx?val11=telecom&val12=0&val13=0&val14=&val15=0&val16=0

What you do now could be one of these: http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2006/SearchKeywordResult.aspx?val11=network+manager&val12=0&val13=0&val14=&val15=0&val16=0

It is more important that your job duties match than that the job title matches.

ya.. some ppl were telling Telecom prof will be in next demand list.. lets see.. :)

Enough of IT for Canada, Applied Engineers could get their nods in coming announcement.
Who knows, time will say.
