I’m currently working full-time as a Budget Officer with the Government of Alberta and need help confirming the correct NOC code. My duties include financial planning (budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis) and financial operations (reconciliations, journal entries, transactions), and payment reviews.
The minimum requirement for this role when posted was a bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g. Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or Public Admin).
I’ve found a few NOC options but not sure which fits best—could you advise? Thanks!
