I am actually confused which NOC will my job be categorized in:
I am working as Payments Administrator for an investment bank.
So my job mainly focuses on payment processing on SWIFT and Treasury Back Office operation.
I will approve most of MM and FX deals, Nostro Reconciliation, dealing with securities, sweeps , reconciliation of interest in counterparty bank accounts we have, updating the security prices, dealing with accounts customers have with us and audit related confirmations
Than when it comes to payments it is basically repairing the payment on T24 which is bank own application, checking the same with AML parties, ensuring payment is complaint, and sending and receiving messages on SWIFT ISO.
I am pretty sure this is not related to NOC 14201- Banking and related clerks since I am doing treasury work too and the work is not that clerical
I was thinking NOC - 11109 Other Financial Officer but Chatgpt said it is more aligned to NOC 12200 - Accounting Technicians and bookkeepers but to be honest this is more of operations related role and I am not doing that of accounting work.
Can any one of you please help me and if you have been through in a similar situation earlier then which one you have chosen.
