NOC code confusion - PLEASE HELP

Dear Forum Members,

Can you please advise if dental office administrative workers' NOC code is 1221, with the following job title and duties?

Job title - Dental Office Manager
Education required for entry into the occupation - None
Type of establishment in which the work is performed - Dental Practice

The majority of the duties are according to this NOC code (1221), however I am also doubting NOC 0311. However, for this NOC code education and training of a specialist physician seems to be ussually required.

Nobody knows better than you. Choose the one that closely matches your JOB DUTIES the most. Title doesn't really matter.

Thank you very much Allawi. Are the CIC officers usually kind to allow to change the NOC code in case it is slightly different from the one that was presented in the application?

I'm afraid not. I've seen a thread where someone was asked to resubmit his/her duties but eventually ended up having his/her application rejected. They seem to not tolerate significant deviation from NOC job duties. Perhaps you can share your work duties and the duties of both NOC options and fellow forum members can advise?

Hi there. I have same situation as you have. As now I work as a Dental treatment cordinatore in Canada, So I culd not find same job title aa a NOC codw on website.

Can we talk by phone each other to figure out this one?

Also, what are the next steps if we choose a particular NOC... for instance I would go for NOC 0311, then I need to get JR & JD from my workplace is it?

And who signs off on them
