NOC Code 2174 Duties doubt

Hi.

I have 1 year experience from back home. I have few doubts, what to include in experience letter, It was in 2012 and now the company is closed. The leter doesn't mention number of hours and salary. Is it ok with CIC?

Orginal letter
This is to certify that "xyz" (my name) had been working at "abc" from 27 June, 2011 to 20 July 2012 as Project Developer.

His responsibilities included:
-The management of the project assignment to the employees as per the skills.
-Code development of software's and websites.
-Management responsibilities for operation of companies for their projects.
-Plan, schedule, and control activities to fulfill identified objectives applying technical, theoretical, and managerial skills to satisfy project requirements.
-Overseeing all aspects of Project management.

He has capable of managing websites and Projects. He has worked in programming languages such as C#, Microsoft Visual C#, .Net technology, and SQL server as database.

Can anyone please have a look at this letter and if it works or not. Also, there no name is mentioned underneath like who signed this letter. Just the company name and signature.

Is this letter for 1 year experience.

If I were you, I would write a nice letter and get employer to review and sign it.

Sorry, I just noticed company is closed. Another option would to write an explanation letter telling CIC that the company is closed. Just a thought... Hopefully someone with more experience on forum might be able to help you.

The thing is this letter is already sent to CIC in 2012, when I applied for my Study permit. Moreover, the company is closed now.

If you want to claim points for this job, then you have no other option than to submit this letter along with a LOE and supporting documents like appointment letter, pay stubs, salary appraisal letter, Year End tax forms, relieving letter or whatever documents you can provide them. Politely explain them in LOE that company is closed and this is the best that you could arrange.

If you don't want to claim points for this job then post ITA you can mention this job in Personal History section and not in Job history section that way you will not be asked for the reference letter and their will be no mis-representation or hiding of facts on your part.

It was in India in 2012. And, I don't have anything except this letter. And, yes I have to use it for getting score of 455. Otherwise I have to go via PNP, which is bit lengthier.

Please be clear CIC/OINP is very strict, they cross check EVERY main document and if they are not able to validate it or are not 100% sure of it's authencity - they will straight away reject it.

Do you know, OINP folks make a call to your bank, sometimes your company as well. They will even search for people who have signed your letters on social media (YES, they do it) . Bottom line, they find faults with 100% genuine letters from top notch Indian IT companies so fake experience letters or letters from friend's company won't stand a chance AT ALL.

If you cannot support this letter with other documents, a safer approach would be not to claim points for this job and instead aim for PNP.

Sorry bskap for jumping in the thread.

I recently received letter for my work experience in India with duties. Duties in letter are as below, do you guys think this will cover NOC 2174? I emailed working in Canada and they confirmed NOC 2174 in response of below duties>

This letter is to verify that Ms. xxxxxx (Employee ID - xxxxx) was engaged by us fulltime (37.5 hours per week) on retainership basis as Programmer in the field of Software Support from 16th August 2007 to 13th August 2009. She worked on CIPA (Common Integrated Police Application Project) and her work experience with us was fully paid and She was performing the following tasks :-

1) Write, modify and test software code of CIPA project.
2) Assisted in the development of graphical user interface (GUI) modules, logical and physical specifications of CIPA application using Java programming language on LINUX.
3) Develop new Java code and modify existing code as per client's need.
4) Writing and updating technical documentations and reports regarding development, status and maintenance of software as per projects requirement.
5) Writing LLD (Low Level Design) to define internal logic for every module of the application.



Please guide me through.
