Good Morning,
I have completed my studies from Saskatchewan and I got job in Saskatchewan as a Materials Technical Advisor but I am unable to find NOC code for that position. I am sending my details about duties, responsibilities and qualification about that position. Please let me know the closest NOC code of this position.

Role Summary/Purpose

The Material Technical Advisor provides expertise in an advisory capacity to the railroad. In this role, you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, drive process adherence, develop and execute objectives for self and others and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.

Essential Responsibilities

•Maintain effective remote location operations, repairing locomotives and executing other duties as required to meet customer needs
•Establish and sustain a culture that promotes a safe and positive work environment
•Assure environmental, health and safety compliance
•As part of a small team, develop and implement procedures and systems for personnel to operate and maintain the locomotives on the fuel stand and/or with limited shop space and resources
•Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to create repair opportunities in the shop and to gain access to craftsman labour force
•Train and monitor work activities for safe and efficient locomotive repairs
•Responsible for all shift performance & execution, customer communications and issue resolution
•Understand WSA contract requirements
•Work as part of a cross functional team, driving a one team, dedicated to customer success approach within the shop
•Ownership of other programs and metrics as required to meet contractual obligations and to deliver business success
•All aspects of warehousing and material management including fulfillment, transactional quality, inventory accuracy, productivity and freight forwarding
•Managing all aspects of warehouse operations, including site services and implementing necessary upgrades
•Ensuring operational excellence through all phases of material movement and storage
•Meet inventory targets and operational targets including month-end and quarter close processes for inventory
•Managing materials fulfillment metrics including timely hardware "roll dates", kit quality and overtime/unapplied time
•Meet customer schedules effectively though advanced planning and create ability to expedite shipments as required to meet deadlines
•Work with customers externally and internally to identify new opportunities to improve our current processes as well as design and implement progressive management processes and systems based on LEAN and Six Sigma for control and replenishment of materials
•Must maintain the highest level of integrity and ethics in dealing with all customers and external suppliers


Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in a technical support or field engineering role)
• Willingness to work various shifts on various days
• Strong analytical skills and problem solving capabilities
• Experience in Microsoft Office applications
• Customer service or contract experience
• Strong electrical and/or mechanical aptitude
• Experience in a field site, shop or manufacturing environment is preferred
•Knowledge in materials management, operations, inventory control and logistics
•Strong anlytical skills and problem solving capabilities
•Effective at managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines
•Ability to bring assignments to a successful completion
•Ability to anticipate customer needs and ensure that they are met
•Ability to generate new and unique ideas and has the courage to take action
•Capable of building connections with the team through personal involvement and trust
•Demonstrate ability to identify and implement best practices
•Strong oral and written communication skills
•Strong Interpersonal and leadership skills
•Self-motivated and strong time management skills

Desired Characteristics

• Experience in industrial operations or military leadership experience
• Technical experience working on locomotives, mechanical or electrical.
