Job Summary:
To operate production line machines and equipment ensuring maximum line efficiencies and productivity.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Start up and shut down all production lines, machines and equipment
- Monitor all machines and equipment to ensure operational standards, efficiencies and product quality is met
- Perform minor troubleshooting of machines and equipment such as changing grinding wheels and honing stones
- Perform quality checks of finished product
- Pack finished product and stack boxes on skids
- Cooperate with and assist other team members
- Maintain production data electronically
- Communicate pertinent information regarding machine issues and product quality issues to Supervisor, Technicians and other shifts
- Perform 5S activities
