Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has done their prior learning assessment for MLT recently.

I am a specialist Biomedical scientist in the Uk. My clinical experience is Microbiology only but i have knowledge (education) in all five disciplines. Do you think i might be required to do a fresher for the rest of the discipline i have no clinical experience in?

Do one need knowledge AND experience in ALL five disciplines to be deemed eligible for the CSMLS exam or one needs Knowledge OR experience in ALL 5 to be deemed eligible?.

I am exactly in the same situation as you. I am a specialist biomedical scientist in the UK with ONLY experience as an MLT in microbiology. I have experience as an MLA in 4 of the other diciplines.
