I am a newbie, I just started to search some more information about FSW
.
I did these tasks bellow in the past, I don't know whether I could be considered to belong to NOC 2281 or not?
My main responsibilities and duties were to manage and operate the Internet Banking System with details as follows:
- Daily monitor and operate servers running on Unix/Linux operating system by using SSH console and shell scripting programs.
- Install, maintain, evaluate and upgrade operating system, hardware and software of the servers running on Unix/Linux operating system.
- Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize the performance of the system.
- Perform daily/monthly backups of the system.
- Establish and perform the disaster recovery system and plan.
- Corporate with internal/external auditor, security team in order to make sure the quality and security of the system.
- Regularly check the hardware health of servers at Data Center.
Some specific projects he took part in:
- Implement the server and network monitoring system by using Zabbix.
- Implement the ISO 27001 security standard.
- Upgrade the Web servers of the Internet Banking System (hardware, software and operating system).
- Implement the New Internet Banking System.
