You are fine. Good luck !

Guys, does anyone know why the Network Technician position does not appear anymore in the list with applications submitted so far? :'(

If you're talking about the CIC list, it's still showing. You need to either change the number of entries to 50 in the drop-down box OR put the code 2281 in the box given.

I mean how can I check how many of the 1000 network positions are occupied so far?

What exactly do you mean?

If you go to the CIC page http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp
and change the entries to 50 or put 2281 in the filter items box.. it shows 99..
they've changed the updating time to monday's...
so at present , it's still 99.

Thanks a lot, trusting.grace, that was exactly what I was searching :)
It seems it won't be too late if I apply in the next 2 weeks...

You're welcome...

Guys I have a doubt

What if my job title says Network Engineer instead of Network Technician? Would this be a problem and is it really necesarry a detailed job description from the employer containing the exact key words expected by the Canadian officers?

I think what matters is the main duties and responsibilities listed in your reference letter should match the ones listed under the NOC

NO. Job titles do not matter and your application will not be rejected based on that.

Thank you Ninesh :), I hope you are right, because as I expected my employer denied to give me a reference letter with different job title

hi nishesh3003,

I am also planning to apply under NOC 2281. apparently, qutoa reached to 193 only yet, so i guess I still have chance to apply now.

I am quite worried about the Job references as I am sure my previous employer may not provide the reference letter in required format. how about you? was that easy?

thnx
KK
