NOC 2173 August Applicants - Let's network here!!!

Hi All,

Today I called up the CIC call center and after a long wait of going through multiple options finally found a guy who gave me my file UCI number. However, he had no idea if my application will be processed in due time or not. I have submitted my FSW application with a DD, which is valid only until Dec'2014. Is there any way to reach out to the Nova Scotia office to find out if the application process is under way or if the DD will be charged????

Application Sent Date : 21/08/2014
Application Received Date : 27/08/2014.

What are my changes of falling in the cap?

this is just the CIC applications received site.
We know they undergo completeness check so could be possible that August applicants fall within the CAP.

HI Vivek

by " guy who gave me my file UCI number" do you mean that you are in cap ?? I am asking because my application was received 28/08/2014. Only 1 day after you. Does this mean that your application is included ?
How could you reach a guy on phone, the answer machine allows only those who received an email from the CIO with their file number to continue on phone till reaching an agent to talk to.
