I submitted in Nov'13 and got my visa last week. However, I'm in the process of adding my spouse application, so I should return the visa & wait for a fresh one to be issues....that's gonna take few months again.

when did you recieve your Acknoledgement of Receipt from CIC .

I have not recieved yet my Acknoledgement .. how long shall i wait??

If you apply under FSW to CIO and as per your first post application got to CIO in Jan 21st. The only thing you can do is send an inquiry to

CIO‑Sydney‑Search‑Enquiry @ cic.gc.ca.

State the following:
Name of principal applicant
Date of birth
Country of Origin


They should reply you maximum within 20 working days

I submitted my application in feb 2014 before the
capping as shown on CIC website and it was returned
as a result of capping.

I am 100% sure that all those applications submitted in
Jan 2014 would have been returned due to capping.

I employ you to check the new professions and see if your
job main duties could match any profession on the list.
