You can only apply under Express Entry if your NOC skill level/type falls under 0, A or B. 1225 falls under B so you do qualify to apply inder Express Entry program assuming you have all other requirements completed as well such as full time job for atleast one year, have got your ECA and appeared for language proficiency with minimum CLB 7.

Now, to answer your question. You do not get ITA based on NOC code. You get ITA if you have enough CRS points and the draw cutoff was lower then the points you have. So someone else who got an ITA and qualifies for 1225 does not mean you will also qualify. We have already established your NOC 1225 is eligible, calculate your CRS and you enter into the pool for ITA. Good Luck.

NOC 1225 is a B skill, so the work experience will be accepted. Some provinces even have it on the PNP list (Saskatchewan had it until recently and Nova Scotia had it; and with a bit extention you can even try New Brunswick).
You should be able to find a job with this NOC once in Canada (also it might be more junior position for the start). There is no special licencing needed.

Good luck.

Hello everyone
I've got a question, my noc is also 1225 (I work for a commercial company that imports medical products), my job experience is more than 3 years outside Canada, I'm 27, my English and French skills are enough to apply under express entry, but the point is that my bachelor degree is metallurgy and material engineering/ceramics which is not related to my job, however I have an international certificate for Commercial and legal correspondence for international trade and contracts and also DELE Spanish Diploma
I need to know if my job not being related to my bachelor degree is going to be a problem or not?

I am in the exact same boat. All my work experience is gained under NOC 1225 but my education is absolutally different from what I do for a living. I am not an expert but from what I know EE does not require you to have work experience based on your education. You recieve some CRS score for your work experience AND for your level of Eduaction and the subject of your studies.
So, having ECA for bachelor degree gains you some points and having work experience gains you points also. It does not matter if you worked as an engeneer or not. What matters is that 1225 falls under B category which gains you points for work experience. However the subject of studies might or might not gain you points (like, if you studied Law outside of Canada, I do not think it gains you points). So, do not wait anymore and apply for EE. You are eligible!
