Dear All,

Could anyone please give me clarification on NOC 0213 - MIS Manager relates to my scenario.

I have degree having the specialization in MIS following with 7+ years experience in MI department But unlikely my current employer given me designation of "MIS Officer" & I had not given importance on it but now i decided to get immigration to Canada which requires postfix of "Manager".

Does my Master's (MIS) & Oracle Certification in Database Administration along with 7+ years experience will give me an added advantage on this?

Regards,
Affan Siddiqui

YOUR DESIGNATION DOES NOT MATTER YOU JUST HAVE TO VERIFY THE DUTIES MENTIONED UNDER NOC 0213.... EVEN I AM A SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER AND I HAVE JUST FORWARDED MY APPLICATION YESTERDAY UNDER NOC 0213

Just compare the duties and choose the title that is most appropriate. no one is 100% perfect here. just co-relate the duties and prepare the application.

go to http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC and find out the role requirements for 0213, degrees will get u points for FSW but won't make you eligible, for that, you have to come under any NOC out of 38 and atleast one year's experience in that. Title isn't very important but duties are.
