Hi friends

i am puting these job responsibilities as in 0213, i hv done all this work and have the experience letter showing the same.

team building for development
cost and effort estimation
meetings with mgmnt and clients
project budgeting
progress reports and reviews
new hires

it it enough or should i explain more.

Another question, there is less space in this section (job Experience) to write about job responsibilities, can i use extra sheet like adress/personal history/education etc, i am asking because it is not mentioned for this (experence)

Please advise

I have filled my form just want to know views of others and in case any wording change is required, as i am a bit nervous about it.

Pankaj,

0213 is a tricky and not only this NOC lot of other. I myself have sent my file and mentioned minimal duties by only using the space in the forms. I would suggest you to elaborate these duties more on a separate sheet.

team building for development - Not Clear - Compare it with the once I mentioned from the website, this is what Visa officer at CIO will do.
cost and effort estimation- Not Clear
meetings with mgmnt and clients - Elaborate it
project budgeting - Elaborate it
progress reports and reviews - Elaborate it
new hires - Elaborate it

Kindly draft them carefully and take your time doing that. It is very important for the Immi Officer at CIO to pass your file and they usually check the duties whether they correspond to the applicable NOC or not.

Hope I have answered your question.

pankaj, here are my 2 cents... immigration officer is not an IT manager himself so the best way for him/her to analyse your application is to look at your job duties while searching for keywords for NOC 0213. when you write your dutues, please explain them comprehensively. try to mention the keywords like managing the team, hiring new resources, planning, organizing, evaluating, policies and procedures etc etc... i am only giving you examples. rest is upto you to decide which ones are your managerial duties. i am myself NOC 0213 applicant and did the same. this worked for me at CIO.

good luck with proving your experience at CIO.

Except the IO is going to base his/her decision on what the employer states were the job duties, not what the applicant states.
