No update in submitted PR application

Hello All,
I had received my ITA in July 2018 and submitted PR express entry application with all necessary documents on 4th Sept 2018.
The application is still in Submitted status for past 1.5months.
Can anyone suggest if this is normal? I presumed the application status to keep getting updated and so forth.

It is normal, I believe. What is matter is the status of eligibility and back ground check. You need to go to your application to see their status.
