No Passport yet for Wife & Child

Hi All,

I wanted to apply for the Canadian PR under Economic class.
Problem with my case is that, my wife and kid (2.3yrs) dont have a passport yet (have applied and would get it after 2-3 months).

Is it necessary to have passport for the spouse and kid while applying for the Canadian PR.

One of my friend's application got rejected because his wife did not have a valid PP. And she was not even accompanying him to canada in his application. FYI.

You need to have passport for your family even if they are not coming in your application as dependant.
