Did you say you applied inland? How long has your wife been outside of Canada?

This sounds like a bit of a complicated situation since the inland process assumes your wife is living in Canada. I'm not sure how the COPR issuance will work.

There are certainly outland applicants waiting for COPR outside of Canada. However I'm not sure you're going to find any other inland applicants in your situation.

yes she is inland applicant, she is on OWP but as there was emergency she needs to fly back home, now she is not able to come back until TRV stamped. Is there any resource which can confirm she will have to wait as she is outside Canada?

I don't understand what you mean by "resource".

I think her only choice is to get the TRV approved and come to Canada. I don't think the COPR will be issued to her outside of Canada since she is an inland applicant. So I don't think the COPR will solve anything for your situation. It's the approved TRV you need.

Sorry - I'm still not sure what you're trying to confirm.

If you're looking for a link to an IRCC web site that confirms what someone is supposed to do if they are an inland applicant and COPR is issued while outside of Canada, then I doubt there's a page for that. Inland assumes the applicant is in Canada.
