Hello all,

could someone clarify about the NOC 6311 for me please? it says it is no longer eligible to apply CEC. Does it mean all titles under NOC 063 (manager, assistant manager, manager in training) have been eliminated?

your answer will be deeply appreciated

thanks,

No, it means exactly what is says. NOC 6311 is no longer eligible fro CEC. It doesn't say anything about NOC 063X... Don't read into things that aren't there. The guidance is clear.

6311 is not eligible anymore. Not sure what you mean by 063.
If you NOC is different from 6311, then it might still be eligible.

Check the list here:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/cec/applications-accepted.asp
And if the NOC is on the list, you're fine.

Thanks for the reply!

yeah, it is confusing because it only says NOC 6311 has been crossed off. it doesnt really go into detail saying the other titles that under the 063X group.....

That's not confusing - it's clear: 6311 is not currently part of CEC. If a noc isn't excluded, it is included.

No, it's not confusing. NOC 6311 is not eligible. 063X is not mentioned on the list so these NOCs are eligible.
If you cook at home, and the recipe asks you to add flour, water and sugar - why would you add soy sauce?!

Read the statements from CIC as is, and don't interpret stuff into it.

Tried to make a clear example on how to read and not-interpret CIC instructions.

If it arrived on or after November 9, you won't be eligible and your application will unfortunately be returned

Correct. Your application will most likely be send back to you, based on the updated MI-10.
They key words are 'most likely' as we don't know what happens to applications received around Nov-9th
yet.
