No Medical Test before priliminary visa stamping letter?

Cant we do Medical Test before we are told to do so after we submit passport for VISA
as it is taking long time for visa process cant we get the medical tests done before it...
Many hav submited d medicals + visa at same time

for normal student visa you can submit your application without medical but for spp requirements are different

For SPP cases, you are allowed to do the medicals before-hand and submit the IMM1017 (medical check report) along with your study permit application. This is the Part IV in your study permit app.

There are "Designated Medical Practitioners" nominated by the CHC from whom you need to get the medical test done. The list is available here - http://www.cic.gc.ca/dmp-md/medical.aspx

You can choose your doc (from the list) The whole checkup is normally a General examination, Blood test, Urine Test and a Chest X-Ray.

But if you have submitted your application under the general process, then I think its wise to wait for the intimation to do the medicals. once that arrives, then ur visa is almost thru. 2 weeks is what I've heard is the time from the time of the medical check to the final approval.

M just quite tensed abt my Visa
as it is taking longer time ...
i had submited it under SPP on 25th june
till now status is under processing

oh wow. thats a really long time....

what else can we do but wait. just realise that its peak season and the CHC is inundated with visa work now. so its only natural that things take long.

its always states tht it is in process

hello,
I am applying for a study permit and would like to send my medical report along with the application. Kindly advise me if the medical is necessary for all students from Pakistan? Also if i send the medical reports of my family along as well will it help to quicken up the process?
