No license for software engineer

I am applying for canada PR. My noc is 2173, I worked in India. On the noc website, it is mentioned that I need licensing for this job but in India it is unlisenced profession. What to do about it? Has anyone faced similar situation?

You don’t need license for Express Entry. For PNP program, you may need to a license. Each province will tell you the licensing requirements.

Thanks for the response. But I want to know if PR visa is rejected for a software engineer if I am not a licensed software engineer in my home country? Though, I have the required work experience outside canada.

No you don’t have to licensed for EE.

Oh trust me, it won't happen. Since the inception of express entry, I bet more than half of the PR issued are to Software Engineers from India and the subcontinent. Almost everyone has no license.
