No Confirmation for spousal application received by immigration department

Hi folks,
I had mailed my PR application under spousal sponsorship category to immigration department in Mississauga Canada around 7 weeks ago but I haven't received any confirmation from them yet if they have got my application or not. How can I check same?
Unfortunately I don't have tracking number of my mail either.

That's pretty normal. It can often take 8-10 weeks before you hear anything from CIC.
