Nikah Only Cases.

I have a question in regards to my application that i am going to submit in shaa Allah within this month.

I have been reading a lot of posts regarding Nikah only cases. I recently got married in Feb 2013. and mine is a Nikah only case. I am a canadian born citizen. However. This is a love marriage and i have text messages, emails gift receipts, pictures as well as 4 years worth of phone bills. I also have boarding passes, ticket copies., wedding card, hall receipts, suit receipts, a letter from my work. All of this is going to be attached with my file.

In my opinion, Nikah only cases should not be rejected or questioned because the government has already made the long wait time. After rukhsuti, it will just be harder for the two to live in distance.

i have been doing a lot of duas... namazes... and i really just don't want a delay.
My question is, how many people have had their nikah only cases rejected? and more importantly, how many have had it approved??

My husband is Muslim (from India) and I am Christian we only had a nikah and he got his visa and will be coming to Canada next weekend. I was worried about that too, but we also lived together married fro 4 years before applying for his visa and have two children so that may have helped our case. I can't say for sure because this whole immigration process is not transparent and we have no idea why they reject some of the cases that they do.

With only a nikah, the visa application is more likely to be refused. Yes, it is possible to get a PR visa with only a nikah - but note in the case above, for example, that they had lived together and have children together.
You see appeal cases where the judge basically says, well, why didn't you have the rukhsati too? And the answer never satisfies, and the appeal is lost. The timeline from Pakistan is so long already, I would just go ahead with the rukhsati before applying, just to be safe.

i dont think so it should be a prob ! but mine was initialy nikah case too..sent my docs in 2011, still waiting!!! i iformed the embassy about my rukhsati: dont know whats taking so long

But don't they know that a Nikah is a islamic marriage??
They are already are making us stay in distance for so long.

I just got back from pakistan, its too difficult to just pick up and go again. So frustrating

they haven't sent you anything since 2011?

Doesn't the first step take 29 days or something?

they sent me 2 letters in these 2 years. one was back last year to re fill some forms. the other letter i got in june was to fill in some more forms and to undergo a remedical which i did in july ! stil waiting

I got married in Pakistan and sponsored my wife after a "nikkah only" ceremony. The application was approved and she received her PR. This was a while back, but should hopefully provide comfort that CIC is familiar with the documents and process.

Okay someone suggested me to write down my case info, and get opinions for successful Nikah Cases from here. So i need as much help as possible from all you lovely people!

Keep in mind, that i do understand some people have to go for a rukhsuti. Which i am aware of. But my main concern right now is getting approved without having to go back. Because i am saving up for me and my husband. and spending thousands of dollars to satisfy people who are out to make people's lives a living hell is just unacceptable.

So i need as much help as possible from all you lovely people!

Let me explain my situation.

In February i married the love of my life, He is also my cousin, (which i know 100% won't effect my case). Our love story began in July.2008. Since July 2008 to now. i have ALL my phone bills. I have text messages from the previous 2 years. i also have emails, gift receipts. which will all be attached with my application, I have also mentioned in my application that we will have a rukhsuti done AFTER my husband gets his visa, because it will be very hard to stay in distance. With my application i am also submitting , my nikah invitation, nikah clothes receipts, (bridal and groom), Exchanging of ring receipts. and other e-cards as well. I also have job letters from my husbands work (in pakistan) , school certificates, all of the required documents plus extras.

I do work full time here, and i am a canadian born citizen. I have explained to them what i plan to do when my husband comes, also have provided a detailed job letter from my employment, indicating that i CAN support him when i'm here. I have also mentioned that i do drive here as well.

I am going to submit my application in about 2 weeks. I am a nikah only case, and i have been praying and doing lots of dua's that i will be lucky enough to get approved. Like some cases.

If anyone can please give me anymore ideas, suggestions of what else i can submit to help these picky government people approve us, that would be greatly appreciated. If you can pass on usernames of people i can discuss it with, that would help too.
