I'm seeking some expert opinions and guidance regarding the next steps after a positive outcome of a PRTD appeal with the IAD.
Recently, the Immigration Appeal Division (IAD) issued a favorable decision, allowing me to retain my permanent residency status. However, I'm facing uncertainty about whether I should proceed with a new PRTD application or await rework of previously rejected submitted/rejected PRTD application.
The official website does mention:
"If your appeal is allowed
This means that you will keep your permanent resident status. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada will issue you a permanent resident travel document allowing you to re-enter Canada. "
The original PRTD application status in my account shows as rejected. Surprisingly, the formal decision document does not shed any light on what to expect next.
I would deeply appreciate insights or experiences shared by those familiar with this matter.
