Hello a everyone,
My patner and I got married recentely here in Ontario Canadá, after 2 1/2 years of a lovely long distance relationship. I am here in Canada, got a 10 year múltiple entry visa back in 2014. We don't get the Marriage Certificate yet, it takes about 10 weeks, according to the Ontario provincial website, instead we got a Record of Solemnization of Marriage... Can we use it for immigration purposes or shall we wait for the "official Marriage Certificate" to start my application of PR?
.. As a newbies we dont know what s the best option for US to apply
Either INLAND or OUTLAND... we dont want to be sepárated anymore. I read some people here apply OUTLAND while staying in Canada and got their PR faster. Here is my big question... If we apply OUTLAND , I am suppost to leave the country, once my 6 months visa or extention expire ... and WONT BE ABLE to return ... until my PR is approved, right?
If we apply INLAND will I be able to go home for a short period of time (2 or 3 weeks) while waiting for
My PR to be approved? Thanks for your answers

1) You'll need your official provincial Certificate of Marriage.

2) If you apply OUTLAND, you will need to leave to reset your visitor status, or apply for an extension (best option if it looks like its going to take more than 6 months). Either way, you'll probably be able to come back on a new visitor permit or stay under the extension. They shouldn't refuse you re-entry unless they're concerned you're trying to make your home up here permanently before PR is granted. But you can come back.

3) OUTLAND is much faster.

4) If you apply INLAND, you can take brief trips out of Canada, but they'll be very heavily scrutinized if they're too long.

You should apply outland for sure and you already have a multiple entry visa so you'll be able to come back before the pr is approve (don't overstay thought)
If you apply inland you can expect longer processing time and if you go back home for holiday and denied entry when you come back they will just throw your application in the garbage.
Outland you will be able to travel outside the country as much as you want without jeopardizing your application.
Good luck ;)
