Hello all,

Im wondering if when sending information about a newborn baby through web form can we send a copy of birth certificate too or do we have to wait to be asked for it?

If you have it, I don't think there's any reason why you couldn't submit it at the same time. You may be asked to submit it again later, but that's not an issue.

They will ask for it. Is the fatherd name on it? I am pretty sure if he is out of country something must be sent to him for his original signature. They will need the birth registration. Not the birth certificate

Thanks!

Thanks for your reply. Yes father is not in country
Youllhave to send awayto have him on the birth registration once you have that you can send it in

Hello experts,

I am confused about newborn sponsorship. I am a sponsor who is sponsoring my spouse (outside Canada). My sponsorship application has been approved and spouse file has been sent to the visa office for processing. She has also completed medical and biometrics. Recently, we are blessed with a baby girl. I have informed to CIC along with birth certificate and they also mention they received it. Now, my question is, do I need to submit a new sponsorship application for my newborn? I have asked this question to CIC 3 times as I totally confused about their reply. Moreover, every time they give different reply as they just copy the templates instead of reading our case-specific question. If anyone has experience please let me know.
Thank you.
