Newborn after Visa Issuance (open work permit) for me, and work permit for my husband

I received my open work permit in August 2021, I am accompanying my husband who got a position as a medical fellow at McGill University in Montreal. He also received his work permit and my two kids (9 and 6 years) received their visit visas.

We applied online and we got the visas on the passports.

Now I am about to deliver a baby, our plan is to travel in the first week of January 2021 as this is the start of my husband's fellowship.


My question is, what should I do after delivery? Can I do anything in advance?


Can the newborn be simply added to my passport?


He is expected to be about one month old at the time of arrival in Canda
Can his visa be processed in about one month??

You need to apply for a TRV for the child in order for that child to be able to travel to Canada. You can only do this after the child is born.
