First post in the forum, I thought I'd Introduce myself. I'm a Mexican engineer currently working for the automotive industry (one of the Detroit car companies). I have visited Canada several times (I have a 10 year B1 visa) on bussines trips. Like most of you understand, I fell very attracted to the canadian life and culture, so much that here I am, looking for a way to move to canada.
Right now I'm doing my share of planning and getting documentation ready (IELTS scheduled in August, getting school transcripts, etc) to try and cover several of the possible migration routes: get an open work permit (NAFTA requires no Labor market opinion, only a job offer). Option 2 is to either get a Master's or one of those College Diploma courses, since you can work and study at the same time.
Anyway, I'll be doing a lot of research in the site, and hopefully start some post once I become more educated about what route I will be taking.
