Hi everyone! I am very new to this forum. I hope you can help me with my questions.

Just a brief background: We (my family) applied for skilled worker immigration in Manila Philippines in 2004. We moved to New York USA in 2008. We processed our address change but since we applied in Manila, everything was processed at the visa office in Manila even if we are here in the US. We recently received our immigrant visas.

My questions are:
1. The destination in our COPR is Vancouver BC but we wanted to change our destination to Toronto since this is the one near New York. Do we need to contact CIC about this change?

2. Granted we could change it, we are planning of just entering Canada by crossing the boarder by land - driving from New York to Toronto. Is this OK? or should we enter Canada by commercial carrier?

Thank you so much in advance for you answers.
