Hi, my husband and i are new to this process, and we would love some advice on the best way for us both to migrate to canada at the same time, if not within very close proximity to each other (time wise).

could anyone advise the best way to get started? We are jamaican, and residing in jamaica. Thanks.

Start from readings contents of this official website of CIC.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/index.asp

see that your or your spouse occupation fall under 29 occupation list :
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-instructions.asp#list

If it falls then you and your spouse are eligible to file application under FSW for immigration to Canada.

Judge your eligibility on the points ( required 67/100).

Later on if you have any doubts or need clarification you are welcome to put it here in this forum.

By the way i tried Gizzada few days back in Canada and liked it. You would not miss that here in Canada.
