NEW to Federal Skilled Worker program

Hello Guys,

MY brother is looking to file PR under the FSW program. Can someone please share some info and/or links to threads that might be helpful in getting more information about this category.

Also a specific question, all his Documents have his full name except the University document that does not have his last name ans also the last name of our dad is not mentioned. As it is a requirement to go through WES Canada for validation of education. Can someone please advise on if it would cause problem as it is not possible to get the name corrected from the University(Red tape delays).

Has someone experienced the same issue?

Name variation on the educational credential is not that important, as long as you get positive assessment on your ECA report. Birth certificate and Passport etc should match match though. If not, some clarification must be given for the reasons thereof.

You can, if you want, explain it in the cover letter sent at the time of submitting the application. Other than that, there is no need in my opinion.
