New SIN - do I need to notify Alberta Health Care?

I got my perm res. a couple of weeks ago and I feel like I remember the guy saying I need to notify Alberta Health Care that I have a new SIN, however I can't find anything online relating to this. Was I imagining it or am I just missing where to go?

Provincial Health Care and SIN are completely unrelated. Change of status is something you might want to inform when renewing your health card
