I have applied for canada pr on july 2nd 2008 & got my AOR on 27th july 2008 . My occupation does not fall in 38 occupation list . so what happened next. when my amount will be refunded . Is there any chance to update the new list within 6 or 12 month? What will be the effect on 38 occupation list of liberal govt? Morever i have filed my application on 2nd july 2008 & I got my AOR on 27th july 2008 before the list made public than how can they imply the new rule in back date moreever they encashed our DD they are suing the amount many people who have applied after 27th feb & before 29th Nov 08.
My next question is to arrange job what type of letter (format) i have to get from the employer of canada & what the formalities the company who arrange job for me has to do

Thanks

Your processing fee will be refunded at some time after they return your application. I doubt they will update the list of 38 so soon but who knows. I am sure they will update it at some point though. The liberals have stated that they will not change the new rules. They can apply back rules to you because they had already announced on February 27 that they would be changing the rules and that all new applications would go under the new rules although nobody knew at the time what the new rules would be. If your application doesn't qualify to be processed, it will be returned to you and you get a refund.

If you apply again with a job offer, the employer first needs to get an AEO from Service Canada and then you will send this AEO in with your application.

The online status of some people's applications who r in yr situation now says: Decision Made.
Some of those applicants have also received 'Thank you for your interest letters' from CIC, and have been told that the refund can take upto 6 months.

Thanks leon & Hsn for your kind information . I have applied in the occupation of Bookkeeper & I have read on a site that Bookeeper in on 29th place in 200 occupation list of canada . So is there any chance of my profession to come in next updated list

They have not said when they will update the list. Maybe they will do it 1 year from now, maybe 2 years, 5 years. Nobody knows. Maybe bookkeeper will be there, maybe not. Rather than wait and hope, if you want to immigrate to Canada, you should if you know French apply for QSW or if not, try to get a job offer so you can apply for FSW.

thanks leon

Can u explain the last lines you have written that if i know french than i can apply for qsw what is that
