NEW REQUIREMENTS FOR PARENTS PR VISA.

Hello,

I landed to Canada little more then a year ago and so far this country is treating me nicely. So, I decided to invite my parents to stay with me here and would like to know about requirements in detail. I only filed 2012 income tax return and it is NIL as I came here in October 2012 and was doing internship in my field in order to get my license. But if you consider my salary this year it is well pass the set mark by CIC.

So, my question is, Do I need to show them 3 years income tax return or one year will do?

You need 3 years, with all years meeting at least the LICO+30% minimum requirement.

So if your first year to qualify is 2013, then you will need to get CRA tax returns also for 2014, and 2015, so could possibly sponsor your parents in 2016 (depending what the qualifications are by then).
