Hi All,

Just wanted to check if any one is aware when will the NOC list for 2011 be declared. Will there be any changes to the current 29 NOC list. The category I want to apply in has already reached its CAP. So I am not sure if I should prepare my documents or not.

Pls help.

I think that you will have to wait, as most of the posters on this forum, their crystal ball is still cloudy.

hey PMM,

I want to ask this question on my relative's behalf. He is pharmacologist and he wanted to apply under NOC 3131 (pharmacist) but its capped reached. He has all documents ready except pcc from USA. I am just wondering can he apply under NOC 2121 (biology and related scientist) as pharmacologist is mentioned in NOC 2121.

thanks alot

IMHO? I think that we will see another minority conservative government. There is a slight possibility of a majority. But remember the Bloc is going to win 45 seats in Quebec, so for a majority a party needs to win a 155 seats for a majority. With the Blocs 45, it means that of the remaining 263 in the rest of Canada, a party would need to win 60% of those. Unlikely for Liberals, with only 1 seat in Alberta and 1 seat in Saskatchewan, thats 48 seats there for the conservatives. The NDP will take anywhere from 14 to 34 seats. So with 4 parties, it will be really tough to win any majority. So we can probably expect another election in 3 years or so.

Hi,

A friend of mine actually was trying to apply through consultants but his occupation is not within the current NOC list, and was told by them that a new list will be out by either end of June or early July 2011.

I suggest to keep your documents ready except for the ones that need to be up-to-date like police clearance certificate..

Good Luck
