New medicals requested after security interview

Hi,
I applied for PR at Buffalo in SW category in June 2006 (long time ago!). I attended a security interview in August 2008, no response since then. I only know that background checks have been going on. I recently got an email from Buffalo requesting new medicals (the old ones expired in fact more than 1 year ago!) and information about my addresses and jobs after the initial application.
Does the above mean that the background check is complete and they are going to finalize my case? Any comment is appreciated.

Yep; however they might wanna check n verify additional docs you provide now - so there could still be some additional checks. however nothing much to worry about, as the approval would have been based on your initial application and these additional docs are just for continuation. all the best!!
